Into The Enchanted Forest

JANUARY 20, 2023

Life isn't what Gabrielle "Gabby" Harrington thought when she finds herself transported into a new world while wearing a red cloak of all things.  There were no white rabbits, no falling through portals, and no looking glasses.  Just a Huntsman named Ethan Jack who happens to be her classmate.

Everything changes when he tells her that she is a Princess and the heir to the Wonderland Throne.

But first they have to make it through the Enchanted Forest.

Ethan Jack never thought he would fall in love with anybody until the mission to retrieve Gabby arrived.  Fighting his feelings means he might miss out on one of the best things to ever enter his life.  Will he act upon them before it's too late to help save the Princess and Wonderland from a power mad Duchess?

The Cursed Garden

JANUARY 20, 2023

If Nadine's life was a fairy tale, she'd be in the middle of her own Cinderella story.

Evil step-mother.  Check.

Lazy step-siblings.  Check.

All she needs is her Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming and she'd be set.

What she doesn't know if she's really a Princess sent into the 'real world' to be fostered out for the sake of Wonderland's future.  She has no clue that the fairy tale book under her bed is more than just a book given to her when she was eight by a strange boy in the woods.

When Prince Charming ends up being the Big Bad Wolf, the Enchanted Forest magic compels her to return to a place she didn't even know was home.  Now in a forgotten realm, she has to face a mysterious and alluring beast.

Can Nadine break the curse or will she rebel against the Tradition that states she must fall in love with the Beast in order to restore him to his human form?

The Runaway Princess

NOV 17, 2020

Tired of being told to take some initiative, Princess Alice of Wonderland does exactly that: she runs away from Wonderland Castle and to the Enchanted Forest.

Ill prepared for her Quests, Alice is assigned a reluctant Huntsman with a secret of his own.  The last thing Sebastian wants to do is escort a princess around the Enchanted Forest and make certain she doesn’t get kidnapped.

But maybe there are lessons they both need to learn beneath the trees of the Enchanted Forest.

The Frog Princess

DEC 8, 2020

Two years after his sisters went on their Quests, Prince Charlie of Wonderland is finally old enough for his.

The last place he expected to be sent was to the Kingdom of Frosch Erbsen and compete for Princess Penelope’s hand (and throne).

When Penelope is threatened, it becomes more than a competition against other princes and knights, it becomes a race to save Penelope’s life before it’s too late.

Can Charlie and Penelope save Penelope or will the Kingdom of Frosch Erbsen fall into greedy hands?

This story is a Princess and the Pea and The Frog Princess mash-up reimagined into something a bit more.  It is fifth and the final book in the Enchanted Forest Series following the Wonderland family, but can be read alone. (Contains some spoilers for the rest of the series.)

The Magic Kingdom

SEPT 22, 2022

In theory, Crown Prince Henry of Charmante would make a decent king. He isn’t well-liked, and the kingdom doesn’t know how to think of him.  He’s made mistakes, but he’s learned from them. All he needs is a chance to prove it, but the Enchanted Forest refuses to let Henry go on his Quests.  It’s not common knowledge, and he’s mostly keeping that information between himself and a few castle staff.  Even the King and Queen don’t know.

When a beanstalk mysteriously starts growing in the middle of a vital river and throws the kingdom into a drought, he’s finally allowed to leave.  There’s only one option: Henry has to climb the magic beanstalk.

Princess Jaclynn of Oben is trapped.  Disguised as a boy named ‘Jack,’ she is forced into hiding by a giant infestation and a spell preventing her from getting the one thing needed to take back her kingdom: a sword dubbed “Giant Killer.”

When Henry arrives in Oben, Jack and her foster brothers feel hope for the first time in years.  Will he be able to retrieve the sword?  Will ‘Jack’ be able to save her kingdom?  Or does a traitor have other plans?

The Magic Beanstalk is a mix of Cinderella meets Jack and the Beanstalk

The Forgotten Kingdom

On Princess Ella of Charmante’s twenty-first birthday, she willingly enters an Enchanted Forest portal; she is ready to return home after she studied abroad in a different realm.  While she’ll miss her new friends, she is eager to return to her old life.

Instead of returning her to Charmante, the Enchanted Forest leads Ella to a forgotten kingdom beneath the earth.  Within this kingdom’s depths, she meets eleven ladies and the twelve cursed stag-men they are meant to dine and dance with every night until midnight.

After being separated from his siblings, Prince Thomas of Roschen is guided by the Enchanted Forest to a cave. When he emerges, he finds himself in a kingdom cursed to be forgotten.

Once the old friends are reunited, Ella and Thomas have to work together to break the spell trapping Ella and the others in Verloran.  Will they succeed and free both the ladies and the stag-men, or will they fail and their existences be forgotten over time.

The Forgotten Kingdom is a mix of Cinderella meets the Twelve Dancing Princesses.

The Swan Princess

May 2024

An Evil Enchantress and her son, Dalbert create chaos by interrupting a Roschen Royal Family meal.  Two broken statues, a swan, and six geese remain in the wreckage left behind.

To keep her safe, Crown Princess Aurora is escorted by her brother, who was spared the curse because he arrived late, to the original Sleeping Beauty Tower and lake.  There, Aurora is left under the protection of Parker, a Huntsman cursed to be a dragon.

By day, Aurora and Parker are trapped in their cursed forms.  Under the moonlight, they spend their limited time in human form trying to figure out how to break their respective curses.  As they unravel what they need to do, they realize that a dark force is lurking in the shadows.

Dalbert finds his family plans falling apart when he can’t communicate with them.  Not knowing how else to fix it, he decides to do the one thing he can: remove Crown Princess Aurora from the equation.  With time running out and no other options available to him, he sets off to prevent the curse from being broken.

Will Evil win out this time?  Will Good defeat Evil?  Will Aurora and Parker remain a swan and a dragon for the remainder of their cursed lives, or can they find a way to break their curses in time?

The Swan Princess is a mash-up of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and the ‘Swan Princess’ along with a few other fairy tales sprinkled into the mix.  It is book eight in the Enchanted Forest series, but book one in the Roschen Chronicles Duology.  It can be read separately from the rest of the series.

The Goose Girl

June 2024

An Evil Enchantress and her son create chaos by interrupting a Roschen Royal Family meal.  Two broken statues, a swan, and six geese remain in the wreckage left behind.

To keep her brothers safe, Princess Rosemary pretends to be a goose girl.  When the curse makes that impossible, they leave the castle grounds and head to the safest place they can think of: the cabin where they spent their summers as children.

Faced with being geese during the day and humans at night, the Roschen princes and Rosemary try to figure out how to break the curse they are under.  When a Huntsman and Prince Chord of Majstro are guided to them by the Enchanted Forest’s influence, they learn the solution to breaking the curse:  Rosemary must make six shirts out of stinging nettle and she cannot speak a word until the last one is finished

As Rosemary and the Huntsman grow closer, a darkness hides, waiting for the right moment to strike.  Will the Roschen princes remain cursed geese forever?  Will Rosemary make all six shirts for her brothers?  Will the evil lurking in the shadows win?

The Goose Girl is a mash-up of ‘Sleeping Beauty,’ ‘The Goose Girl’, and ‘The Six Swans,’ along with a few other fairy tales sprinkled into the mix.  It is book nine in the Enchanted Forest series, but book two in the Roschen Chronicles Duology.  It can be read separately from the rest of the series, but is best read with The Swan Princess.
