The High School Collection
David has been protecting his bookworm next door neighbor ever since their freshmen year of high school. Delilah has been trying, unsuccessfully, to avoid her former best friend and neighbor ever since David picked popularity over her.
But the mask that David has been wearing is getting tight and all he wants is his former friends back in his life. Make matters worse is the deal that he made with Aimee as a means to protect Delilah and her friends from this Mean Girl and her friends.
Things change when Delilah’s sisters decide to give her a make-over than nobody will be able to miss. Suddenly the bookworm is the center of attention and the self-proclaimed Queen Bee and resident Mean Girl doesn’t like how everything is beginning to slip away. When Aimee breaks their deal, it’s David’s chance to get his best friend back.
Does Delilah decide to let David back in her life? Can David win back Delilah’s trust? Will their surrounding cast and crew of friends be able to handle the changes taking place in their own lives all because of the Bookworm Next Door and David’s decision?
Stephanie Makes The Match
Brady Johnson has no luck with girlfriends thanks to a meddling little sister. And he’s okay with that until he meets Stephanie Blake.
After dating for several weeks, Stephanie realizes something important: her and Brady are not compatible. In fact, she knows exactly who is a better match for her boyfriend: Hannah Stanfield.
Will setting up her boyfriend be as easy as she thinks it is, or will Brady’s little sister create some complications that might destroy everything before it can really begin?

Stephanie Makes the Match is a Bookworm Next Door prequel short story featuring Stephanie, Hannah, and Brady. Hannah and Brady’s story continues in Along the Road, although they appear or are referenced in all the stories except The Summer After Graduation. Stephanie’s story will continue in Stephane Meets Her Match (scheduled for release in 2022.)
The Party
When David is manipulated into throwing an end of the school year party, he reluctantly goes along with it. But it’s okay because his older brother John reminded him of the Carver brother’s fail safe plan for whenever they host a party.
Aimee has the best plan ever to get David to get back together with her and this party is the very thing that will help her set that plan in motion. All she has to do is wait for when David decides to hide from the party he didn’t want to throw.
Whose plan will work: David or Aimee’s? Will they get back together or will other events cause David to realize that some of his friends aren’t really his friends.

The Party is a prequel very short story in the Bookworm Next Door series. You can read it before or after The Bookworm Next Door. Some events from Stephanie Makes the Match are referenced. Events from The Party are referenced in The Bookworm’s Makeover and The Bookworm Next Door.
The Bookworm's Makeover
How exactly did Delilah (from The Bookworm Next Door) manage to get trapped into a makeover from her sisters?
The Bookworm's Make Over is a prequel short story (about 20 pages) about Delilah's make over and takes place shortly before The Bookworm Next Door. It is not necessary to read the short story before the novella, but it adds some additional information to some of the characters.

A Forced Make-Over
Delilah Davis does not know what to expect after her two older sisters forced a make-over on her right before her senior year starts. She just wants to read her books and pretend that she does not want the attention of her next door neighbor. Nothing could change the fact that he had publicly rejected her their freshmen year of high school.
A Heart Filled with Regrets
David Carver is growing tired of the image that he feels he has to maintain to keep his place in his school’s social order, including the people that he hurt along the way to get there. Filled with regret, he is not certain how to change the past or if he even can. Is being popular really worth dealing with the negativity from his so-called friends?
Mix Them Together
Is David prepared for his first glance at the “improved” bookworm next door or will his friends ruin everything for the neighbors? Can Delilah trust David to not destroy her heart a second time? Was the make-over even worth it?

Stephanie Meets Her Match
After making several successful matches, Stephanie wonders when it’ll be her turn.
At the end of the semester, returning to her parents’ house feels weird. Her mother is insisting on a curfew and knowing where her daughter is at all times. Stephanie, feeling caged after months of freedom, doesn’t know how to handle her mother’s overprotectiveness.
Despite Mrs. Blake’s protests, Stephanie gets a job at a local cupcake bakery. Even though she’s mostly behind the front counter, occasionally getting to help in the back fulfills Stephanie’s love of baking.
During her first bible study back, Stephanie meets James. With their summer jobs located in the same shopping center, they spend what little time they can together, getting to know each other and slowly falling for each other.
