Writetober Day 5 - Bow

Using a spare shoelace she kept in her backpack, Eliza pulled her hair back into a low ponytail, tightening the hold of her makeshift hair tie by tying the ends into a bow.

If she was going to be shelving books in the creepy part of the stacks, she'd like to keep her hair out of her face.  It was bad enough her ponytail holder broke after practice.

To be fair, it was bad enough that it was her turn to have to go upstairs to the section where the lights constantly flickered and dimmed.  When she was first hired someone told her about the library ghost and that section had creeped her out ever since.
